Quebec, Canada – Volunteers from the Valero
Jean-Gaulin Re昀椀nery welcomed 100 children to one
of its nearby parks for a variety of activities that
teach them about local wildlife, the environment
and ways to conserve natural habitats.
Port Arthur, Texas – Valero volunteers
provided hands-on science demonstrations
at Lamar University’s CoLABoration camp by helping
students understand how concepts like density and
separation relate to transportation fuels.
London, U.K. –
Valero volunteers
took part in the
Mudchute event to
revitalize Mudchute
Farm by planting
trees and shrubs
and improving the
play areas for the
community.
Ardmore, Oklahoma – In collaboration with the
Ardmore Beauti昀椀cation Council and Carter County
OSU Extension, Valero Volunteers and community
partners planted more than 200 native plants and
installed a new irrigation system to revitalize the
Butter昀氀y Way Station ahead of the monarch butter昀氀y
migration.
St. Charles Parish,
Louisiana – Valero
volunteers partnered
with Matthew 25:35 to
donate and distribute
nearly 1,800 pounds
of non-perishable
food items to feed
approximately 330
families.
Texas City, Texas – In support of Texas City ISD
and Dickinson ISD, more than 70 Valero volunteers
packed and distributed 500 backpacks to prepare
students for the new school year.
