government of昀椀cials were invited to our facilities throughout
the year as part of our proactive engagement efforts.
Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)
We engage regularly with representatives from NGOs in
local communities to answer their questions as well as look
for ways we can partner on projects for the betterment of
the community and review resource requests that could
improve our community. For example, in Corpus Christi, our
re昀椀neries are actively involved with the Coastal Bend Air
Quality Partnership and its Ozone Advance Report as well
as its Coastal Bend Air Action Plan, which will be released
in late 2026 and provide voluntary initiatives to help reduce
emissions in the air shed. In Wilmington, we partner with
International Bird Rescue to sponsor projects that assist
with waterbird rehabilitation and wildlife emergencies. Also,
in Quebec, our re昀椀nery is a member of the Green Alliance,
which is the leading environmental certi昀椀cation program for
the North American maritime industry.
Indigenous Tribes
We collaborate with indigenous tribes to
preserve sites with biodiverse, historical,
cultural and spiritual signi昀椀cance when
undertaking infrastructure projects.

Industry and Business Partners
We collaborate with industry and business
partners such as local chambers of
commerce to embrace the highest
standards of responsible operations,
including ethical business practices and
compliance with laws and regulations,
speci昀椀cally, those related to health, safety,
environment, human rights, labor and
governance matters. We also work with and
participate in trade associations. This diverse
team of government and public affairs
professionals review federal, state and local
policies that could impact our industry and
the community.
